Cancer Information Webinar – Video

16/06/21

The Dorset Macmillan Cancer Information team have produced a cancer information webinar for the cancer non-clinical workforce. This includes volunteers, social prescribers, cancer support groups and other community groups.

The aim of the DMCI project is to ensure that cancer patients, their families and carers across Dorset are able to access information and support in the right place, at the right time and in the right way to suit them. This will be achieved through personalised supported signposting to existing groups and services, meeting each individual’s treatment and holistic needs, and improving their overall health and wellbeing.

The webinar includes general information about cancer presented by Macmillan GPs. You can hear from key healthcare professionals involved in caring for someone with cancer, and there is even a brief tour of this website.

The webinar lasts for one hour. Click on the link below to watch the video.
