World Cancer Day – 4th February 2021

03/02/21

February 4th is World Cancer Day, led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).

By raising worldwide awareness and promoting personal, collective and government action, we’re working together to reimagine a world where millions of preventable cancer deaths are saved, and access to life-saving cancer treatment and care is equal for all – no matter who you are or where you live.

Created in 2000, World Cancer Day has grown into a positive movement for everyone, everywhere to unite and face one of the greatest challenges in our history.

Follow World Cancer Day Live to listen to leading thinkers from around the world, as well as book readings and live music performances. Learn how to reduce your own risk of developing cancer and take a rare look inside the work of our cancer community.
