SafeFit
SafeFit – specialist cancer exercise classes
SafeFit was designed in response to the COVID-19 crisis. SafeFit supported people living with cancer to maintain and improve their physical and mental health and well-being, while following government guidelines. The service was for people aged 18 years and over living with cancer.
SafeFit was designed to:
- provide patients with exercise advice based on their needs that they could do safely at home
- help patients find different and new ways to keep active and eat healthily
- improve overall well-being.
Patients were able to refer themselves to the SafeFit team, via a dedicated website
