Cancer Information Webinar (1 hour)

The Dorset Macmillan Cancer Information team have produced a cancer information webinar for the cancer non-clinical workforce, including volunteers, social prescribers, cancer support groups and other community groups.

The webinar includes general information about cancer presented by Macmillan GPs, signposting to relevant local and national cancer related health and information services, and key healthcare professionals involved in caring for someone with cancer.

Coughs, COVID, Cancer and when to worry – Webinar

Listen to Dr Andie Siggers, GP and Dr Jenny Graves, Consultant Respiratory Physician, in conversation about Coughs, COVID, Cancer and when to worry.

The session aims to give people more confidence to know when to contact their GP about their cough. They talk about lung cancer, the risk factors and what happens when a referral is made to the hospital and what you can do.

Prostate cancer webinar

With Mr Andrew Wedderburn (Consultant Urological Surgeon) and Christine Talboys (Urology Cancer Nurse Specialist) from University Hospitals Dorset.

This session was produced by the Dorset Macmillan Cancer Information project to raise awareness on how prostate cancer is diagnosed and treated, and  to describe some of the support available.
