Remote follow-up for prostate cancer

The team at University Hospitals Dorset have produced a set of information videos for men who have been treated for prostate cancer and are now being followed up via the remote-monitoring system.

These videos explain what patient led follow-up is, how the PSA is monitored, and the signs and symptoms of recurrence to look out for. There are also videos to explain the side-effects of hormone therapy and ways to manage these, as well as the services available for treating erectile dysfunction following treatment for prostate cancer. There is also advice on coping with the physical and emotional effects of prostate cancer.
