Macmillan Counselling & Psychology Service

We are a team of counsellors and psychologists based at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. Our service is provided by Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, in partnership with the Macmillan Information and Support Centre and Wessex Cancer Support.

We specialise in providing psychological therapy for adults affected by cancer, whether you have received the diagnosis yourself, or a loved one. We understand that the emotional impact of cancer can be just as challenging as the medical treatment itself. We support you to make sense of your experience of cancer, and take steps towards what matters to you.

Most of our therapy sessions are offered in person, although we are able to offer virtual appointments.
